About The Position

Overview We are seeking a skilled Audio-Visual technician with high ability to perform standalone break/fix troubleshooting and meeting support for a high-profile client in a commercial setting. This is a 1099 contract position for the first 3-6 months with potential for full time hire. If hired full time, benefits will be available Tech will be asked to be onsite every other Tuesday and Wednesday for 8 hours per day as assigned care to break/fix, troubleshoot and support what is needed (4-6 times per month total) Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance visits to help maintain a stable client-based system and environment Troubleshooting and break/fix of all AV conference equipment that is onsite Provide White Glove support and service of AV Meetings from scheduled to live event in both a commercial and town hall environment Troubleshooting of Networked Devices (Routers, IP Protocols, etc.) Perform service tasks in a timely and quality manner Provide end-user client support and some training as needed Setup and troubleshoot various video codecs/video teleconferencing systems as requested and needed Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video and control Clean various AV equipment including but not limited to: camera lenses, monitors and equipment fans

Requirements

  • A/V experience with conference room equipment troubleshooting and end user support (MS Teams, Zoom, Webex)
  • Experience with Crestron Control equipment and device support
  • Experience with Logi Tech end points
  • Experience with QSys Cores and AV Control systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance visits to help maintain a stable client-based system
  • Clean various AV equipment including but not limited to: camera lenses, monitors and equipment fans
  • Basic understanding of control programs (AMX / Crestron/Firmware)
  • Troubleshooting of Networked Devices (Routers, IP Protocols, etc.)
  • Perform service tasks in a timely and quality manner
  • Provide end-user client support and some training as needed
  • Setup and troubleshoot various video codecs/video teleconferencing systems as requested and needed
  • Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video and control

Responsibilities
