Requirements
- MUST hold a completed 4-year degree
- Teaching or tutoring experience in Audio and Video is required: Must have experience with broadcasting & streaming, video production, video production, and audio production softwares,
- In-person availability is required
- Scheduled hours: Tuesdays OR Thursdays from 9:30 AM to 1:15 PM CST
- Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.
Responsibilities
- Subjects to be taught: Audio/Video 1 & 2: Broadcasting and Audio Production
- Grades: 9th-12th
- Mentor students in producing a weekly 15-minute news broadcast
- Assist students in planning, recording, editing, and producing media content.
- Provide tutoring support to large groups of students.
- Tutors will have access to information about class assignments
- Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies
- Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart Tutors staff
- Partner with Study Smart Tutor’s Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students
Benefits
