About The Position

Manage the operations of the Audio-Visual Department to ensure professional-quality AV technical support for meetings, conferences, concerts, sports events, banquets, and receptions. Hire, train, supervise, and oversee scheduling of personnel to provide labor necessary to set up and operate equipment. Ensure seamless integration of live production, streaming, audio mixing, and digital signage.

Requirements

• Proficiency in OBS, vMix, Blackmagic Design hardware/software, and Digital Audio Mixers, NDI Workflows, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to communicate effectively and accurately with customers, visitors, and staff.
• Ability to lead and work in a team-based environment.
• Specialized knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform duties of this position.
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and manage event equipment.
• Higher Education or Vocational Technology related education preferred
• Two years’ experience in working in audio/video production or related field
• Experience producing live-streamed sports and entertainment events with multi-camera switching.

Responsibilities

• Full authority and ability to work with audio, video, lighting, large scale printing, streaming, and digital audio mixing equipment with the goal of producing professional presentations. Will make decisions as to what is needed to provide the proper needs of the customer and facility.
• Operate and maintain in-house video display systems and integrate with Blackmagic equipment and software for switching, routing, and video production.
• Set up and manage live video production and streaming using OBS, vMix, and other broadcast platforms to deliver high-quality LIVE and on-demand content.
• Responsible for working with audio and video components including cameras, microphones, lights, sound mixers, and recording systems.
• Operate and program Digital Mixing Consoles for live concerts, sports events, and other productions, ensuring optimal sound quality.
• Responsible for the setup, implementation, and production of all Live Streaming activities of Arena
• Responsible for the Arena Sports Scoring Systems and the training of personnel needed for utilization
• Must have a strong understanding of NDI workflows, including sending, receiving, and managing IP-based video and audio across networked devices.
• Oversee Arena POS Systems setup and operation during events.
• Conducts research and/or utilizes knowledge and training offered to determine format, approach, content, level, and medium which will be most effective to meet given objectives. Mistakes in this area could be costly to the Nation.
• Locates and secures settings, properties, effects, and other production necessities.
• Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) to design promotional graphics, event advertisements, and in-house digital content.
• Responsible for and working with various large-scale printing and signage components.
• Works with graphic designers to execute rough and finished graphics and graphic designs for printed asset needs.
• Ensure live production quality and minimize technical risks during broadcasted events.
