About The Position

Audio Video Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all Audio Video systems and hardware located within the RWC facility. Supervise and assist third party production companies for special events in the Epicenter. Provide in-house AV setup and services for special events and support of casino floor operations. License Level: This is a non-gaming level position. This position involves the sound systems and televisions on the casino floor, including the volume projected thereto. Nothing in this job description should be interpreted to permit this position to have access to secured gaming areas without an escort, have access to gaming equipment, or have access to sensitive customer data. This position does not have the ability to make discretionary decisions or develop and implement policies that impact the long-term operations of the gaming facility.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old and have the ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the applicable statute, rules and regulations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three (3) years’ experience in installed AV systems and in a high volume, luxury complex resort/casino environment
  • Knowledge of digital and analog audio system hardware troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Dante digital audio and Biamp DSP a plus
  • Experience with Crestron control systems
  • Basic networking experience
  • DMX control
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals and other related documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries from other Team Members or guests.
  • Fluency in English required.
  • Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Ability to compute complex mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to decipher various reports and maintains reports upon request with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.
  • Must be able to interact with internal and external guests in a professional manner.
  • Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Team Members must be able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure trouble-free operation of all AV systems and services.
  • Supports in house live entertainment and special events.
  • Repairs and maintains all in house AV systems as needed.
