Audio Internship (Fall/Winter 2026)
About The Position
Bang Zoom! Studios is seeking an Audio Intern for Fall/Winter 2026 to gain hands-on experience in audio post-production for anime, television, and video games. This is an unpaid internship for college/university credit only, focusing on audio post-production workflows, editing, and studio operations. The internship provides practical learning experience within a professional studio environment, with opportunities for mentorship and skill development. Interns will assist audio and production teams, learn industry-standard tools like Pro Tools, and gain understanding of studio etiquette and collaboration. This role is not related to music composition, scoring, or pre-production.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, trade, or vocational program.
- Must receive academic credit for participation (verification may be required).
- Priority given to students who require an internship for graduation.
- Applications must include a cover letter.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Pro Tools or similar DAW.
- Professional, dependable, and able to follow direction.
- Organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
- Comfortable working independently and in a team environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a studio setting.
- Reliable transportation required.

- Interest in anime or Japanese culture is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist audio, production, and support teams with supervised tasks.
- Support preparatory work for engineers and recording sessions.
- Observe and assist with audio editing workflows.
- Assist with daily runs between studio locations.
- Help maintain studio cleanliness, organization, and functionality.
- Support general studio readiness and operational needs.
- Understand studio etiquette, workflow, and collaboration.
- Build time management and organizational skills.
- Receive constructive feedback and mentorship.
