About The Position

This role involves programming and operating digital mixing consoles for plays and small-scale musicals. The Audio Engineer will also be responsible for executing pre-show audio/comms checks and post-show shutdown procedures, as well as installing and maintaining venue-specific communications, paging, and monitoring systems. Additionally, the position assists in the construction of show-specific items, maintains the organization of the audio shop and mixing area, and helps update audio inventories. Other duties may be assigned by Production Management.

Requirements

• Experience programming and operating digital mixing consoles.
• Ability to perform pre-show audio/comms checks and post-show shutdown procedures.
• Skills in installing and maintaining communications, paging, and monitoring systems.
• Willingness to assist in the construction of show-specific items.
• Organizational skills for maintaining audio shop and mixing area.
• Ability to assist in maintaining and updating audio inventories.

Responsibilities
