About The Position

The Audio Engineer will support the ECC Creative Team by capturing, editing, and maintaining high-quality audio for video content and creative projects. This role will work closely with creative staff during video shoots, studio sessions, and post-production workflows to ensure every piece of content meets ECC’s standards of excellence. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, creative, organized, and passionate about achieving consistent, professional audio quality across all platforms.

  • Experience or willingness to become fluent with M32 audio consoles
  • Experience or willingness to learn ProPresenter, OBS, and LightKey
  • Basic understanding of audio, video, lighting, and livestream systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot Blackmagic converters, SDI signal chains, and related tech systems
  • Experience with or willingness to learn Pro Tools
  • Ability to assist with session prep, editing, and microphone setup
  • Comfortable with cable running, TV installation, and LED wall work
  • Ability to maintain clean and organized workspaces and studio environments
  • Attend one service each weekend

  • Work all events that are considered all-hands-on-deck (ex., Next Class, Worship Nights, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Support the ECC Creative Team with professional audio for video productions
  • Attend video shoots to set up microphones, monitor audio, and capture clean recordings
  • Operate and maintain audio recording equipment during shoots and productions
  • Edit, clean up, mix, and finalize audio using Pro Tools
  • Maintain consistent audio quality and standards across all ECC video content
  • Assist with session prep, studio setup, and microphone maintenance
  • Organize and maintain audio files, sessions, and production assets
  • Troubleshoot audio issues during shoots, edits, and post-production workflows
  • Assist with studio organization, cable management, and technical projects as needed
  • Collaborate with creative, worship, and production teams to achieve the best possible final product
  • Support meaningful worship experiences through excellence in audio production and creative storytelling.
  • Collaborate with creative and production teams to foster unity, creativity, and excellence.
  • Serve ECC with humility, flexibility, and a commitment to excellence in every project.
