About The Position

The Audience Growth & Social Media Producer is to produce and create native social content for MSN social channels. This includes editing and creating native social content to drive audiences to MSN content and CoPilot. This role also includes working with creators and experimenting with content and trends. An ideal candidate has editorial experience in a newsroom, creates high quality native social content, is enthusiastic about social media creation and is driven to build something new. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 1+ year(s) integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related work experience OR equivalent experience.
  • Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere and Photoshop.
  • After effects.
  • A proven track record of producing and creating native social content and optimizing content for TikTok and Instagram.
  • A proven track record of scaling and growing new and younger audiences.
  • Experience in a newsroom environment, distributing news and information content across social at scale.
  • Manage multiple projects and communication between stakeholders, simultaneously, with tight deadlines
  • Proven editorial judgement, writing and copy editing.

Responsibilities

  • Create and publish MSN content across MSN socials with a focus on editorial accuracy, audience growth, and creative native social content.
  • Create, produce and edit native vertical social video.
  • Create, produce and edit native social graphics.
  • Oversee and executive a social publishing strategy across legacy social to drive referrals and audience to MSN content.
  • Work with the Senior Social and Creative Lead on social series and innovative social storytelling formats on TikTok and Instagram.
  • Cross collaborate with the Director of Content and Senior Audience Growth and Creative Lead on big editorial executions around key events.
  • Think creatively and drive execution of creative social content.
  • Create and execute on innovative ways to drive audience to MSN via additional top of funnel strategies.
