About The Position

deciBel Research is seeking an experienced ATV Test Engineer to support the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Weapon System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the Architecture and Delivery (A&D) Automated Test and Verification (ATV) Team. This role is responsible for developing automation related SW development products in support of the GWS contract execution on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering or computer science
  • 8 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - software design requirements, application development, integration, testing, and deployment
  • Professional experience development using Eggplant, Python, Bash or similar languages
  • Experience developing technical solutions in collaboration with multiple product teams
  • Experience in software development related to Test Automation
  • Familiarity with Agile software development using tools like Jira, Confluence, Fisheye/Crucible, and Bitbucket
  • Capable of working both independently and within team environments
  • Must be able to work in office, on site
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Jenkins and Elasticsearch
  • Experience as a team lead
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum leadership roles such as Scrum Master or Product Owner
  • Current Security+ certification
  • Applicant selected must have an active Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Build SW products assigned by your leadership related to test automation of requirement verification efforts at the system level
  • Develop software in an Agile environment
  • Work in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, diverse assignments, and collaborative team settings across all levels
  • Develop and conduct testing in HWIL environment
  • Automate current manual test procedures
