About The Position

Tucker Ellis LLP is seeking Attorneys to join our trial practice in our Los Angeles office and work on complex, high-stakes litigation. Due to the continued growth of our practice, we are looking for attorneys with 2-7 years of experience in litigation. In this role, you will gain experience in all areas of civil litigation, including hands-on trial experience working with trial teams that have successfully defended Fortune 500 companies in some of the country’s most challenging venues.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• 2-7 years of experience with an interest in litigation
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills
• Experience drafting motions, taking and defending depositions, and handling discovery
• Trial experience or interest in trying cases
• Admitted to practice in California

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with partners on complex litigation matters
• Assist in developing case strategy and client counseling
• Participate in all stages of trial preparation, including discovery, witness preparation, and courtroom advocacy
• Handle court appearances and argue motions
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents
• Work with fact and expert witnesses
• Take and defend depositions
