About The Position

Wettermark Keith is seeking an experienced, client-focused attorney for its Social Security Disability practice. The attorney will manage cases from intake through resolution, including hearings and appeals, and independently handle a high-volume caseload. This is a full-time, in-person position in the firm’s Birmingham, Alabama, office, with a competitive salary, discretionary bonus, and comprehensive benefits.

Requirements

• J.D. and active U.S. State Bar membership in good standing (any state).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Passion for helping clients and achieving results.

Nice To Haves

• Three or more years of experience in Social Security law; this is preferred but not required and may be substituted with three or more years of attorney experience and a willingness to learn Social Security law.

Responsibilities

• Handle Social Security Disability cases, including hearings and appeals.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
• Communicate with clients and provide updates.
• Manage a high-volume caseload independently.
