About The Position
This is professional legal work in providing counsel to the employing jurisdiction and those acting on behalf of the jurisdiction in areas of governmental, municipal, real property, and other relevant areas of law.
Requirements
- Attainment of a minimum Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited school of law
- A minimum of one year experience as a practicing attorney performing legal work, preferably in governmental or municipal law
- Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Alabama
- Must possess or obtain admission to practice in the Southern District of Alabama within 6 months of employment
- Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence
