We are seeking an Attorney to join our Medical Malpractice Litigation practice group in Greenville, South Carolina. Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical malpractice litigation
- Admitted to practice in South Carolina
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to manage case files independently or with limited assistance
Responsibilities
- Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, and required client reports
- Taking depositions of lay witnesses and expert witnesses
- Retaining and preparing expert witnesses
- Conducting legal and medical research
- Communicating with clients, opposing attorneys, judges and court personnel
- Working closely and cooperatively with other attorneys and paralegals on medical malpractice team
