About The Position
The Attorney will be responsible for managing litigation, including attending depositions, court conferences, and trials. This role involves evaluating liability and damages, conducting legal research and motions, and participating in special projects. The position requires a Juris Doctor degree and admission to the NY State Bar, with a preference for 1-3 years of experience in defending premises liability cases. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and legal case management programs (Neos preferred) is also necessary. Strong communication, organizational, multitasking, and research skills are essential for success in this role. The position requires daily travel within the New York Metropolitan area for court appearances, site inspections, and depositions.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor Degree
- Admitted to the NY State Bar
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 required.
- Legal case management programs required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Ability to work in a team environment is required.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to balance paperwork with court appearances and depositions are required.
- Ability to multitask and efficiently prioritize work required.
- Superior research skills and the ability to analyze complex matters required.
- Ability to travel to court appearances, site inspections and depositions throughout the New York Metropolitan area on a daily basis.
Nice To Haves
- 1-3 years of experience in litigation defending premises liability cases preferred.

Responsibilities
