Marin County based firm, widely regarded as one of the top small-sized personal injury and medical malpractice firms in the Bay Area, is seeking to add an attorney to their growing team. Requirements

• Member of the State Bar of California with a license in good standing.
• At least three years prior personal injury and/or medical malpractice litigation experience on either the plaintiff or defense side.
• Strong academic record and work record (for recent graduates considered).

• Experience arguing law and motion
• Experience taking depositions
• Exceptionally qualified recent law school graduates with an authentic interest in this area of practice.

Responsibilities

• Run assigned personal injury cases on their own (with support from the firm’s paralegals and office manager).
• Handle depositions, written discovery and any pre-trial motion work.
• Work cases up from intake to settlement discussions and/or trial.
• Support other attorneys at the firm by contributing to legal research, demand letters, brief writing, record review, etc.
