About The Position
Stenger & Stenger, P.C. is seeking an Attorney, licensed and located in Georgia (near Savannah - Chatham County), to join their growing team in retail consumer collections. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on a team in a fast-paced environment and has an interest in leveraging the latest in technology. The position reports to the state lead and is best suited for quick learning, dependable, and collaborative attorneys. The attorney will use their Juris Doctorate degree, analytical mindset, and knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to creditor’s rights and collections to develop and implement case-level litigation strategy, and zealously represent clients at court proceedings. They will also partner with the internal team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to efficiently manage dockets and cases, prepare pleadings, and ensure seamless case management. Additionally, the attorney will use good judgment, complex problem-solving skills, and achievement orientation to negotiate settlements with defendants and opposing counsel, defend against counterclaims, and navigate escalated litigation matters to resolve disputes. The role involves leveraging the latest industry technology, monitoring and educating team members on changes to laws or regulations, and supporting continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for increased efficiency. The position requires regional travel to appear at courts throughout Georgia, a good standing with the Georgia Bar Association, and the ability to meet requirements of a thorough background review process.
Requirements
- Licensed and located in Georgia (near Savannah - Chatham County).
- Juris Doctorate degree.
- 1-3 years of experience in creditor’s rights and civil litigation.
- Analytical mindset.
- Knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to creditor’s rights and collections.
- High bar for excellence.

Responsibilities
