Blackstone Multi-Asset Investing (BXMA) manages $101 billion across a diversified set of businesses. We strive to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns for our clients across market cycles. The successful candidate will work on a variety of legal matters relating to hedge fund, hybrid fund and hedge fund investing and structuring. Primary job responsibilities will include: Structuring, negotiation, and formation of BXMA’s commingled and customized funds and portfolio investments. Negotiation and execution of certain direct and indirect investments within BXMA’s Absolute Return, Multi-Strategy and Total Portfolio investment strategies. Substantial interaction with BXMA internal business groups (investment, accounting, operations, investor relations) and external clients. Management of external counsel. Negotiation and review of various legal documentation. Ongoing review of industry and regulatory developments to assess any relevant information or risks to BXMA’s business. Requirements

  • J.D. degree required.
  • Candidates should possess a minimum of four (4) full years of law firm and/or in-house private investment fund work experience.
  • The successful candidate should have strong drafting, communication, and organizational skills and have demonstrated experience interpreting legal and business terms.

Responsibilities
