Williams & Connolly LLP is seeking an Attorney Recruiting and Development Coordinator. Under the direction of the Chief of Attorney Talent and Manager of Attorney Recruiting and Development, the primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Conducts first-level reviews and processes associate and summer associate applications using the FloRecruit database; Processes expenses and reimbursements for interviewees, summer associates and associates, as well as outside vendors for firm events; Provides administrative support by updating hiring statistics, surveys and spreadsheets; Organizes Hiring Committee meetings and accompanying materials; Fields inquiries from associates and summer associates to prepare for their arrival at the firm; Assembles documentation and updates internal databases in preparation for new associate and summer orientation; Schedules and coordinates in-house interviews; Assists in the administration of the summer associate program by maintaining orientation forms, creating and editing the summer associate directory, coordinating and attending on-and-off site events and managing evaluations and exit interviews for departing summers; Coordinates the summer associate hiring process (OCI) by maintaining the on-campus interview calendar, submitting registration forms and fees, generating and updating interview materials, coordinating with various career services offices, and greeting and escorting applicants at the firm; Provides administrative support for on-campus and other events outside the firm, including shipping recruiting materials, tracking attendance and generating name tags; Supports the Diversity and Inclusion Committee and Women's Initiative by assisting with programming and event logistics; Monitors the department budget; Provides on-the-job instruction and guidance to new team members and; Attends WALRAA/NALP meetings/events as needed. REQUIREMENTS: The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, organized, and will exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times. The candidate must have the ability to prioritize workload while working in a fast-paced environment, and work both independently and with all levels of the firm and department personnel. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and knowledge of FloRecruit and viRecruit is a plus. Two plus years of experience in a law firm, professional services firm, or career services experience is strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree required. The working hours for this position are 9:00 am - 5:30 pm. The candidate must also be available for in-person work and overtime, including early mornings, evenings and weekends during the heavy recruiting period (currently -November - March), and must be available and able to travel around the DC metro area to attend recruiting related events. After successfully completing the introductory period, the candidate will be eligible to work the department's approved hybrid schedule. Work is performed in a professional office environment and requires the following: Prolonged periods using a sit-to-stand desk and working on a computer. Repetitive movements, including typing on a keyboard and using a mouse. Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs. Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation. This is a non-exempt position. The anticipated hourly wage for this position is $38.46 - $43.58, which equates to $70,000 - $85,000 on an annual basis based when working the standard 1,950-hour annual work schedule. The final offer amount is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, education, and other relevant skills and qualifications.
