About The Position

Personal Injury Attorney Sand Law, PLLC is a recognized and growing personal injury law firm seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join our team at our Saint Paul, MN office. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled PI litigator who thrives in the courtroom and enjoys handling complex injury cases. Attorneys with an existing book of business are encouraged to apply and we are also open and welcome to you bringing your high performing support staff. Our firm maintains a steady flow of cases and continues to expand. The selected candidate will step into an established, collaborative team environment with strong support from associates and experienced legal staff. This role is ideal for an attorney who can independently manage a full caseload while benefiting from a well-resourced and supportive firm structure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an American Bar Association accredited law school.
  • Licensed or able to become licensed to practice law in the State of Minnesota.
  • Strong background in personal injury litigation with demonstrated trial experience preferred.
  • Ability to manage a full caseload independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex legal issues.
  • Willingness to travel for court appearances within a multi-state region.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, as needed.
  • Lift and carry up to 10 pounds occasionally.
  • Bend, stoop, reach, and grasp objects as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of personal injury cases from intake through resolution.
  • Advocate zealously on behalf of clients.
  • Handle written discovery, depositions, motion practice, and other pre-trial matters.
  • Develop case strategies and represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Draft pleadings, briefs, appeals, and other litigation documents with precision and attention to detail.
  • Represent clients in a variety of court settings.
  • Negotiate settlements and pursue favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Conduct legal research and analyze cases to develop effective litigation strategies.
  • Interpret laws and advise clients regarding their legal rights and options.
  • Handle potential client intake calls and maintain proactive communication with clients.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to ensure efficient case management and strong client outcomes.
  • Attend team meetings, strategy sessions, and conference calls.
