We are a full service firm of more than 110 attorneys representing sophisticated clients in areas that include real estate, corporate transactions, corporate litigation, economic development, family law, health care and medical malpractice defense. We currently have an opening in Greenville, South Carolina for an Attorney in the Medical Malpractice Litigation practice group. Education and Experience: The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in medical malpractice litigation. Candidates must be admitted to practice in South Carolina and should possess strong academic credentials, excellent research and writing skills, strong work ethic, and the ability to manage case files independently or with limited assistance.

Responsibilities
- Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, and required client reports
- Taking depositions of lay witnesses and expert witnesses
- Retaining and preparing expert witnesses
- Conducting legal and medical research
- Communicating with clients, opposing attorneys, judges and court personnel.
- Working closely and cooperatively with other attorneys and paralegals on medical malpractice team
