Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, P.A. is seeking an Associate Attorney for its Greenville office to join the Financial Services/Creditor Rights practice group. Practice areas include Bankruptcy (motion practice, adversary proceedings, hearings, and claim enforcement), Foreclosure (residential and commercial from initiation through judgment and sale), Collections (prosecution of collection actions, judgment enforcement, and related litigation), and Landlord-Tenant disputes.

Requirements

J.D. from an accredited law school.
Licensed and in good standing to practice law in South Carolina (federal admissions preferred).
2-4 years of experience in creditor rights, financial services litigation, or related areas.
Strong litigation, research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

Independently manage a diverse caseload with direct client contact.
Draft and argue motions, attend hearings, and appear in state and federal courts.
Provide strategic advice to clients on creditor rights issues and compliance considerations.
