About The Position

The Department of Anesthesiology is seeking an Attending Physician to prepare and administer general and regional anesthetics and pain medication, adjusting as needed before, during, and after surgery and other procedures. This role involves performing venous and arterial punctures for the administration of anesthetics, working closely with surgical specialists, and providing pre and post anesthesia patient care and evaluation. The physician will evaluate patient histories, lab results, and surgical plans to determine appropriate anesthesia and pain management plans and monitor patients following procedures. Additionally, the role includes engaging in medical research and providing instruction to residents and fellows. Duties will be performed at multiple locations in Bronx County, NY.

Requirements

• 24 months experience working as an Anesthesiologist.
• New York State Medical License
• Medicine/ECFMG certificate
