About The Position

As a Room Attendant, you will ensure that our rooms and suites are always fresh and welcoming for our guests. You will create a haven for them to escape and relax in, or get some last-minute work done. This role is physically demanding, requiring you to be on your feet most of the day, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and bend or kneel for certain tasks. You will also need basic literacy and math skills, and a flexible attitude towards shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Physical fitness; on your feet most of the day.
Strength to occasionally lift items up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms and/or push/pull heavy objects.
Ability to bend and kneel to complete some activities.
Literacy skills: reading, writing, and basic math skills.
Flexible attitude to shifts, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

Ensure rooms are always at their best, making them special and memorable for guests.
Assist guests with requests such as toothbrushes or directions.
Keep supervisor updated on room service progress and report any needed repairs.
Follow established safety procedures and wear protective equipment when necessary.
Manage supplies and amenities, minimizing waste.
Log and turn in lost and found property according to procedures.
Wear uniform with pride.
Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
Monitor and control supplies and amenities, minimizing waste within all areas of housekeeping.
Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments to ensure excellent quality and service.
May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects.
May have turndown duties.
May assist with other duties as assigned.
