Attendant Room
About The Position
As a Room Attendant, you will ensure that our rooms and suites are always fresh and welcoming for our guests after a busy day at work, creating a haven for them to escape and relax in, or get a bit of last-minute work done. You will make sure our rooms are always at their best, meeting standards and making each room special and memorable for guests. You will also be happy to help guests with requests like a toothbrush or directions, keep your supervisor updated on room service progress, and alert them to any repairs needed. Safety awareness is crucial, requiring adherence to established safety procedures and wearing protective equipment when needed. Organization is key to keeping track of supplies and amenities, minimizing waste, and reuniting lost items with their owners. You will also be expected to look smart by wearing your uniform with pride and assist with other ad-hoc duties as needed. This role may regularly assist with deep cleaning projects and may have turndown duties. You will work as part of a team, communicating with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service.
Requirements
- Physical fitness, as the role requires being on your feet most of the day.
- Strength to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms and/or push/pull heavy objects.
- Ability to bend and kneel to complete activities.
- Literacy skills including reading, writing, and basic math skills.
- Flexible attitude to shifts, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
Responsibilities
