Overview of the Role Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. is seeking an Attendant, Production II, for an existing opportunity within our organization. Under the responsibility of the Production Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for handling, forming, and placing product into cheese forms on a production assembly line, while ensuring top quality and safety throughout the production process. Schedule: Monday to Friday; 7:00am – 3:00pm Wage: $26.15/hour There are 2 wage increases in the first year of employment, with a target rate of $227.55/hour.
Requirements
- Food/dairy/manufacturing experience an asset
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and good communication skills
- Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to multi-task
- Team player, but can also work independently
- Ability to work on foot for extended periods of time
Responsibilities
- Process cheese curds from the vat to the cheese forms, ensuring proper fill levels.
- Accurate completion of all required documents and sanitation procedures
- Setup, tear down and sanitation of machines when required throughout the day
- Meet or exceed daily production efficiency requirements provided by Supervisor or Production Manager
- Other duties as assigned
