About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of public areas, guest corridors, and specific service areas within the establishment. The Attendant - Houseman will perform a variety of cleaning tasks, assist other staff, and ensure a safe and positive environment for guests and colleagues. This position is represented by Unite Here and is subject to the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Availability to work weekends, holidays, and nights as scheduled is required.

Responsibilities

Vacuums and dusts all public areas including guest corridors and light fixtures.
Cleans guest elevator landings, elevator cabs, service elevator landings, and emergency staircases.
Delivers guest items as directed.
Clears all assigned hallways of trash and linen.
Shampoos carpets and scrubs bathroom floors as directed.
Cleans the outside of guestroom doors, including kick plates.
Replenishes housekeeping floor closets with supplies to par stock levels, keeping closets clean and orderly.
Cleans and mops all vending areas.
Distributes clean linens to floor closets, gathers dirty linen on assigned floors, and places in the linen chute.
Assists the Guest Room Attendant on assigned floors.
Reports any damaged or missing items to the supervisor.
Cleans the pool area, 928 lounge, and executive offices as directed.
Provides exceptional customer service.
