This role involves transporting golf clubs to and from guest vehicles and group buses, assisting golfers with carts and equipment, and distributing scorecards. The attendant will also be responsible for staging golf carts, cleaning and storing rental clubs, organizing guest clubs, and maintaining the cleanliness of golf-related areas. Communication with the golf shop is key to ensuring efficient operations and guest satisfaction. Additionally, the role includes setting up and breaking down practice stations, picking up and washing balls from the practice facility, and ensuring the security of all golf equipment. The attendant must also adhere to company policies, report accidents, maintain a professional appearance, and protect company assets. A significant part of the role involves providing excellent guest service, including welcoming guests, anticipating their needs, and assisting individuals with disabilities. The job requires clear communication, positive working relationships, and adherence to quality standards. Specific physical requirements include standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds, manipulating objects with fine motor skills, and navigating uneven or slippery surfaces, as well as stairs and ramps. Reaching overhead, below the knees, and performing other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors are also part of the job.
