About The Position
The Attendant - Donation Center role involves receiving donations, tracking and weighing them, and sharing information about the organization's mission and charity partners. This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and ensuring safe and efficient handling of donations, including loading and unloading trailers and donation boxes. The team collaborates to care for donated items and provide value to customers.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Provide outstanding customer service to all donors
- Organized and can keep the donations area neat and presentable
- Aren’t afraid of working in the ever-changing weather
- Committed to working safely and efficiently
- A team player ready to work with a diverse group of co-workers
Responsibilities
- Receive donations from donors
- Track and weigh donations that we collect
- Share information about our charity partners and our mission with our donors and customers
- Work in the heat, the cold and in wet weather conditions
- Work safely and efficiently in loading and unloading trailers and donation boxes
