About The Position

This is a full-time position at the Kansas City Residence Inn. The role involves preparing, presenting, and maintaining complimentary breakfast and/or evening reception services. The Attendant is responsible for ensuring cleanliness, proper stocking, and guest readiness of service areas, buffets, tables, and equipment. A friendly and helpful attitude is essential for greeting guests and addressing their questions or concerns professionally. The position requires flexibility to assist in various areas, including light food preparation, restocking, bussing tables, and supporting bar/service areas. Adherence to food safety and sanitation standards is critical for maintaining a safe and clean environment. The Attendant will monitor food quality, storage, and temperature, and collaborate with the team to ensure smooth service operations. Effective communication during shift changes and compliance with all company policies, safety, and security procedures are also key aspects of the role.

Requirements

Great attitude and love for teamwork.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs during your shift.
Flexible availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certifications (or willingness to obtain within 60 days).

Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
Monitor food quality, proper storage, and temperature standards.
Work as part of a team to keep service running smoothly and efficiently.
Communicate key updates during shift changes.
Follow all safety, security, and company policies, and report any issues as needed.
