About The Position

Attendant Caregiver (URGENT HIRE Full-Time Hours) at Impact Home Health Care in Argonia, KS. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, meal preparation, light housekeeping, monitoring health, providing companionship, and transferring clients. The position requires the ability to lift up to 200+ lbs and work in homes with multiple cats. Available shifts are Monday-Sunday, with specific urgent hire hours Monday-Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The pay rate is $13.00-$14.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Valid Kansas driver's license or state ID
• Reliable transportation and valid vehicle insurance
• Pass background checks (including APS/CPS)
• No felony convictions within the last 6 years
• No sex offender record

Nice To Haves

• CNA or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification (not required)
• At least 1 year of caregiving experience
• Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Transfer clients using patient lifts
• Lift up to 200+ lbs when necessary
• Work in homes with multiple cats
