About The Position
Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) has an immediate need for Attendant Care Employees - (ACE) in Durham, Portsmouth and Somersworth NH! As an ACE for Granite State Independent Living, you can make a meaningful impact by providing compassionate support to our consumers and promoting their independence.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years old.
- Must be able to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds or more.
- Adequate car insurance (if applicable).
- Pass criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- LNA License is NOT required for this position.
- High school diploma not required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, eating).
- Provide in-home care.
- Range of motion/exercises.
- Laundry, meal preparation, housekeeping, organization etc.
- Assisting with ambulation and transfers.
- Use of mechanical lifting devices (will provide training if necessary).
- Medication assistance (reminding a consumer of when it is time to take their medication).
- Providing support in the community with running errands.
