About The Position

CAE is seeking a Part Time ATP/CTP Ground School Instructor to join our training department in Eagan, Minnesota. CAE offers a comprehensive training program to help transform your knowledge and skills as a pilot into a world-class Instructor and subject matter expert ready to lead clients thru their training. We ask that you can provide 8 to 10 days of availability per month. You provide us your availability at the end of prior month then we will do our best to get you scheduled based on business needs.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to live/work in the United States
• An unrestricted ATP certificate
• Basic computer proficiency – Microsoft Office and other internet based programs
• Must be able and willing to participate in CAE’s DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 2 years' Part 121 experience
• Previous instructor experience
• Previous aviation training, coaching, or instructional experience
• Experience delivering instruction in a customer-focused training environment
• Experience adapting learning approaches to meet individual trainee needs

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming and successful learning environment
• Communicate effectively across all mediums (spoken, written) and at all levels
• Provide continuous “red carpet” customer service
• Tailor training sessions to the needs of a diverse customer base
• Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with CAE policy and FAA requirements
