Lead Atlassian Applications Analyst | Pay Range: $112,240.00 - $145,810.00 Senior Atlassian Applications Analyst | Pay Range: $87,950.00 - $112,190.00 Atlassian Applications Analyst II | Pay Range: $77,900.00 - $99,320.00 Join our dynamic IT Corporate Applications as an Atlassian Applications Analyst! The Atlassian Applications Analyst (AAA) partners closely with internal teams to simplify how work gets done. You’ll help optimize work patterns through automated workflows, form creation, reporting, and process improvements using the Atlassian suite of tools—all with the goal of making work more simple, efficient, and productive. Do you enjoy helping teams untangle messy processes and turning them into something smarter and easier to use? Are you someone who likes talking with stakeholders, understanding how they work, and building solutions that actually improve their day-to-day experience? If so, this role could be a great fit. As an Atlassian Applications Analyst at Southwest Power Pool (SPP), you’ll work with teams across the organization to understand their needs and help them get more value from tools like Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket. Sometimes that means designing a better workflow, sometimes it’s creating a clear and usable space for shared knowledge, and other times it’s enabling better visibility through dashboards, reporting, and automation. This is a hands-on, people-facing role. You don’t need to be a heavy coder—but you should be curious, analytical, and comfortable figuring things out. You’ll spend much of your time collaborating with teams, whiteboarding ideas, and configuring practical solutions that make everyday work smoother. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an Information Technology-related field or equivalent job-related experience
  • Lead: Ten (10) years of applicable experience in Information Technology Development and/or Support related roles or a combination of technical experience and leadership experience
  • Senior: Six (6) years of applicable Information Technology application administration and support experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience or a combination of technical experience and leadership experience
  • Level II: Three (3) years’ experience of Information Technology Development/Support experience
  • Proven experience administering Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket required)
  • Expert troubleshooting, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Expert written and oral communication skills
  • Expert working knowledge of SDLC and project life cycle methods and practices
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • Understanding of and compliance with SPP Policies and Procedures
  • Expertise in scripting, SQL, deciphering error and event logs, data analysis.

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) or more years applicable utility industry experience
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python, with the ability to read, understand, and modify existing scripts
  • Data visualization experience with Tableau or Power BI
  • Comprehensive understanding of SPP’s core business model
