About The Position

This role serves as a bridge between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring that systems effectively support organizational objectives. The Applications Analyst II evaluates and advises on technology functionality, implementation requirements, and potential benefits to business processes. You will work cross-functionally, liaising with IT, vendors, and business stakeholders to align solutions with strategic goals. This position requires a proactive, analytical mindset, capable of identifying opportunities to improve processes through technology while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Your work will directly impact operational efficiency and system adoption, contributing to overall business success. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in business systems analysis or closely working with IT on system implementation.
  • Strong understanding of business processes, technical concepts, and their intersection.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products; familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work across multiple systems and environments.
  • Epic certification or successful completion of Epic proficiency program within six weeks (if applicable).

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for technology-enabled improvements.
  • Act as a liaison between IT, vendors, and business stakeholders, providing guidance on system capabilities and implementation.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, technical specifications, and clear communications for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support the planning, implementation, and testing of systems across multiple platforms.
  • Assist in the design and execution of business process re-engineering initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and process issues, ensuring solutions meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to deliver projects on time and within scope.
