About The Position

This role involves planning and coordinating training classes with multiple agencies, managing training records, and handling administrative tasks for the department. The instructor will also be involved in ad-hoc charters, maintaining loadmaster currency, and processing visa/passport applications. Key responsibilities include answering calls, managing correspondence, maintaining files and office supplies, and providing vendor support.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of three (3) years of civilian or military loadmaster experience OR five (5) years’ experience loading commercial aircraft, preferably in a supervisor or lead position
  • Clearly and effectively communicate with Company, vendor, customer, and agency personnel, both verbally and writing
  • Successfully complete and maintain pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Type using a computer keyboard and moderately proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and E-mail
  • Work and complete projects with minimal supervision
  • Move over and around cargo while performing loadmaster duties
  • Work beyond a normal 8-hour work day
  • Travel at a moment’s notice for up to 14 days minimal
  • Provide copies of previous loadmaster training records

Nice To Haves

  • Certified in weight and balance or load planning preferred
  • Certified in acceptance, loading, stowage, and handling of Hazardous Materials preferred

Responsibilities

  • Plans and coordinates Planeside Representative Training classes with multiple agencies.
  • Sends notices to Ground Handlers.
  • Sets up materials needed for training class.
  • Sets up catering (if needed).
  • Maintains Planeside Representative training records throughout Amazon and AMC.
  • Provides other agencies Training Department copies of the sign in sheets.
  • Coordinates Ground Security Coordinator – Web Base Training.
  • Maintains Loadmaster currency for individual self.
  • Processes Loadmaster’s & Planeside Rep Visa/Passport Apps if required & assists with travel arrangements.
  • Answers incoming calls for department and provides information for routine questions.
  • Reads incoming correspondence and retains or routes that which does not require management’s attention.
  • Composes routine correspondence.
  • Maintains files containing confidential material.
  • Maintains office supplies.
  • Provides vendor with current policies and procedures.
