JOB PURPOSE: Serve as Ticket Office Worker during the work week in the UW Athletics Ticket Office and on ticketed game days. The Athletic Ticket Office is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Approximately 10 hours per week is expected. This position can carry over into the summer and into the 2026-2027 school year. Starting Pay rate will be $9/hour. A pay raise will be given for each semester of continuous employment with the Ticket Office.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of intricate computer programs
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Cash handling experience and clerical techniques (i.e., answering phones)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Able to comprehend instructions and procedures in a fast paced environment
• Previous customer service experience preferred in a point of sale or inbound phone/customer service environment

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of customer service to donors, fans, and alumni of the University.
• Take inbound phone calls.
• Solicit sales.
• Process ticket orders during the week.
• Sell tickets for football, basketball, volleyball, and wrestling events.
