About The Position

Aspire Public Schools is seeking a High School Girls' Soccer Coach to provide students with a high-quality, personalized athletic experience while upholding the organization’s mission and values. Aspire operates a network of college-preparatory charter schools serving TK–12 students in California and aims to prepare students for success in college, career, and life. The coach will help foster an environment of high expectations, student engagement, belonging, and college preparation. This is a part-time coaching position. The stated pay rate is $22.28 per hour. Requirements

High school diploma.
Relevant experience coaching interscholastic athletic teams.
At least 2 years working with students as a high school athletics coach.
Knowledge and experience coaching high school teams.
Knowledge of the coached sport and league interaction.
Ability and willingness to reflect and improve.
Ability to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community.
Demonstrated success with prior coaching.

Responsibilities

Organize and manage student behavior to ensure students are fully engaged.
Support a school-wide culture of high expectations, including college preparation for all students.
Ensure athletes comply with Aspire and BASCALS eligibility requirements, including scholastic, disciplinary, and attendance eligibility.
Work with administration to ensure compliance with school policies and practices.
Provide students and families with regular, timely information about athletic activities and student progress, and find ways to involve parents and guardians in students’ athletic experience.
Demonstrate fiduciary responsibility with equipment and monies.
Support Aspire Public Schools’ mission, vision, values, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and code of ethical behavior.
