Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training or related field such as Health, Physical, Education or Exercise Science Required
No experience required Required
AT - Certified Athletic Trainer Current certification from the National Athletic Trainer’s Association Upon Hire Required
Current Athletic Trainer license in State of Georgia Upon Hire Required
BCLS - Basic Life Support BLS certification through AHA Upon Hire Required

Nice To Haves

Experience with a variety of sports programs Preferred

Responsibilities

Provides care to clients in need of sports related rehabilitation services in various settings.
Responsible for the care of injured athletes from adolescents to geriatrics at community sporting events and on the practice and playing fields.
Administers immediate first aid and develops a treatment program based on the nature of the injury.
Communicates with the injured athlete, physician, coach, and family as appropriate.
