About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT) for their Sports Health team in the Dallas - Fort Worth, TX area. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $56,326 annually. The role involves providing athletic training services for a wide range of contracts, from youth sports to professional and collegiate athletics, as well as various large-scale events.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with athletes.
  • Must be a Texas Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT).
  • Ability to manage a flexible schedule.
  • Strong commitment to quality care of athletes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide athletic training services for over 200 contracts including youth sports, middle and high schools, club soccer, Dallas Stars HS Hockey league and tournaments, 5k, 10k, and half marathons, 3 large club soccer leagues, college and university athletics, club lacrosse, USA rugby, Texas Amateur Hockey League games and tournaments.
  • Cover large seasonal events such as Dallas Cup International Soccer tournament, Dallas Marathon, Irving Marathon, MS 150 Bike Ride, USA Gymnastics, College Gridiron Classic, USA Football events, Great American Shootout Tournaments, US Youth Soccer Tournaments, and NCAA NIT Basketball Tournament.
  • Fulfill a minimum work requirement of at least once every 3 months.
  • Utilize the When I Work app for scheduling, which includes posting events live as soon as requested, allowing staff to pick their preferred shifts.
  • Access event maps, contacts, and details through the scheduling app.
  • Sync event schedules with personal calendars.
  • Communicate effectively with other staff Athletic Trainers.
