Kessler Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Per Diem Athletic Trainer to support a variety of athletic partners throughout North Jersey. This role offers exposure to high school, collegiate, and hockey athletics while working within one of the region's premier sports medicine networks. The position involves providing coverage for athletic practices, competitions, tournaments, and events, assessing and managing athletic injuries and illnesses, administering first aid and emergency care, supporting concussion baseline testing and return-to-play programs, conducting athlete screenings and injury prevention initiatives, collaborating with various stakeholders, maintaining documentation, and assisting with sports medicine education and community outreach efforts. Additionally, Kessler Athletic Trainers have opportunities to engage in Industrial Sports Medicine programming, ergonomic assessments, functional movement screening, Post-Offer Employment Testing (POET), and occupational health and wellness initiatives.
