About The Position

The University of New Hampshire is seeking an adjunct to provide Athletic Training for Girls Soccer Camp. Athletic training encompasses the prevention, examination, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of emergent, acute or chronic injuries and medical conditions. This role involves communication between coaches, parents, and campers regarding medical information and the ability to handle and distribute prescription medication. Diagnosing injuries, including head injuries, is a key responsibility. Due to the time constraints of the camp, a full medical clearance from a doctor is required for any camper diagnosed with a head injury to return to play.

Requirements

  • Certified Athletic Trainer
  • Multiple years of on-field coaching experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide Athletic Training for Girls Soccer Camp.
  • Prevention, examination, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of emergent, acute or chronic injuries and medical conditions.
  • Communicate between coaches, parents, and campers regarding medical information.
  • Handle and distribute prescription medication.
  • Diagnose injuries including a head injury.
  • Ensure campers diagnosed with a head injury obtain full medical clearance from a doctor to return to play.
