About The Position
Seeking an Athletic Trainer for a full-time position in the Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area. This role involves completing athletic training duties at an assigned location, specifically providing outreach services at a local high school in southern Indiana for 40 hours per week. The hours will be 2-10 pm Monday-Friday with some Saturday hours depending on scheduled home events. This position does not involve clinic responsibilities. The Athletic Trainer will be part of a multi-disciplinary team within a Regional, Non-Profit Hospital organization that promotes continued education.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Athletic Training program
- Athletic Trainer licensure in state of practice
- Athletic Trainer Certification issued by the Athletic Board of Certification (BOC)
- BLS for Healthcare Provider from AHA, ARC, or AHSI
Nice To Haves
- Master’s Degree from an accredited Athletic Training program
Responsibilities
- Complete athletic training duties at assigned location.
- Provide outreach services at the secondary school setting.
- Work at a local high school in southern Indiana for 40 hours per week.
- Work 2-10 pm Mon-Fri with some Saturday hours depending on home events scheduled at the high school.
