The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) is accepting applications for the position of Athletic Trainer. This is a limited, part-time position with a targeted hourly salary range of $30.63/hour - $50.00/hour. Under the supervision of the Assistant Athletics Director, Sports Medicine, coordinate, at a high level, athletic injury prevention, evaluation, management and rehabilitation to UCLA varsity student-athletes. Organize injury prevention programs. Share responsibility of Athletic Training services for all sports and student-athletes as assigned by the Assistant Athletics Director, Sports Medicine. This position will be assigned to various coverage needs to support our Olympic Sports as assigned by the Assistant Athletics Director, Sports Medicine. Athletic Training services to include: coordination of physical exams for team, evaluation, treatment and documentation of injuries, design and supervision of rehabilitation programs, and supervise and counsel sports medicine student interns assigned to practice and game coverage. Communicate and document athletes' progress to athletic training staff, physicians, conditioning staff and coaches. Maintain written and computerized documentation on all athletes' injuries, treatments and rehabilitation. Refer injured athletes to UCLA team physicians as appropriate. Administrative and other duties as assigned by the Director of Sports Medicine.
