About The Position
Work-Fit and Alliance Physical Therapy Partners is seeking an Athletic Trainer or Exercise Specialist. Work-Fit provides injury prevention services as part of a client Industrial Athlete (IA) program. Services include Job Conditioning, Symptom Intervention, and other prevention services. This position will support service locations in San Antonio, TX. Currently, this program site is comprised of 6 total staff positions.
Requirements
- Self-starter able to work independently without direct supervision.
- Skilled communicator, motivator and work well as part of a team.
- Natural leader, thinking outside of their comfort zone.
- Degree in Athletic Training, Exercise Science, or related field.
- Current certification as athletic trainer or exercise professional with national organization in good standing.
- Current First Aid/CPR certification.
- Experience in teaching group exercise classes to adults.
- Competency with Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities
- Provide injury prevention services as part of a client Industrial Athlete (IA) program.
- Conduct Job Conditioning.
- Provide Symptom Intervention.
- Deliver other prevention services.
- Engage employees in all services in the industrial setting.
- Adhere to the standards of practice as outlined in the Work-Fit/Client SOP.
- Focus, organize, and prioritize delivery of services.
- Be an integral piece of the largest Industrial Athlete program in the country.
