About The Position
The Athletic Intern assists in the daily operations of the Athletic Department. Provides practice coverage for assigned sport. Serve as the onsite liaison for student athletes. Assist with comprehensive academic and career counseling to support student athletes in identifying and meeting their academic goals leading to graduation and career development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any field, OR individuals currently enrolled in college completing their undergraduate studies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge in the usage of personal computers, including word processing.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced degree in counseling, education, athletic administration, or related area.
- Experience tutoring college students or working within an academic advising setting.
- Knowledge of NCAA Division I rules and regulations.
