About The Position
The Athletic Academic Advisor provides comprehensive academic advising and support to a large population of undergraduate and graduate student-athletes across various programs. This role manages an assigned caseload of student-athletes, offering individualized academic planning, including major-specific course selection, to promote timely progression and graduation. Advisors guide students through academic requirements, institutional policies, and available campus resources, ensuring they are connected to appropriate support services such as mentors, tutors, and success programs. Through a holistic and student-centered approach, the advisor fosters an inclusive and engaging environment that enhances students’ academic success, professional growth, and sense of belonging.
