The ATE Field Mechanical Technician is a mobile, field-based role providing mechanical repair, diagnostics, programming, calibration, electrical, and safety-related services to Crash Champions locations, third-party partners, and retail customers. The position combines full mechanical repair responsibilities with advanced diagnostics and ADAS calibration. The technician travels daily to assigned service locations in a company-provided vehicle and works independently in automotive shop environments. Duties also include diagnostics and repairs of electrical and SRS systems, vehicle scanning, module programming and initialization, and ADAS diagnostics and calibrations when trained, equipped, and authorized. EV and hybrid high-voltage procedures may be performed when properly trained and certified. Technicians must document services, scan reports, and billing in accordance with OEM guidelines and company policies; conduct test drives to verify repairs; meet productivity, quality, and compliance standards; maintain company-issued tools, equipment, PPE, and vehicles; provide professional customer service; and participate in required training and team meetings. Saturday availability is required on a rotating basis, typically every other Saturday from 9 AM to 12 PM or as scheduled.
