About The Position

The Positive Youth Engagement Program (PYEP) provides individualized care to help youth transition from program-supported activities to community involvement. The program builds confidence, reduces reliance on formal supports, and strengthens natural connections through structured, community-embedded experiences that promote skill development, self-esteem, and stability. It aims to reduce risk factors associated with out-of-home placement and support long-term community integration. Youth Coaches work directly with at-risk youth to reduce the risk of out-of-home placements. They provide one-on-one mentorship focused on building youth strengths, fostering attachment to school, community, and family, and creating achievable goals.
