About The Position
Walton Charter Academy, located in Pontiac, MI, is seeking an At-Risk Teacher for the 6th-8th Math grade levels for the 2026-27 School Year. This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week. Walton Charter Academy, opened in 1999, serves students from Young 5 to 8th grade and offers a supportive environment where staff can connect passion with purpose. The school consistently outperforms local districts on state assessments and is committed to ensuring a safe learning environment. Requirements
- Hold a valid teacher license or meet alternative requirements. NHA will support you through your alternative certification journey.

- Experience working with at-risk students, preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide instructional support and assessments for students who are below grade level.
- Create, manage, and participate in a variety of learning environments and activities in the applicable core content areas.
- Additional duties as assigned.
