The AT/EMT/Paramedic Injury Prevention Specialist - Off Shift position is in an occupational medicine setting. Requirements
- Injury Prevention EMT/Paramedic certification or license in good standing in the state of Pennsylvania
- good orthopedic skills

- able to work autonomously and possess good critical thinking skills
Nice To Haves
- 2 year's experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Conducting emergency response and triage procedures for initial evaluations for musculoskeletal disorders and injuries such as sprains, strains, lacerations, and contusions. As well as non-occupational, medical emergencies.
- Injury Prevention
- Assessing repetitive motion discomfort
- Determining root cause analysis
- Ergonomic assessments
- Implementation and assessment of proactive programs such as stretching and job rotations
- Analyzing trends and producing reports for safety
- Medical surveillance procedures such as pulmonary function testing, hearing testing, eye exams, UDS's, and mask fitting
- Medical screening
- Electronic medical reporting/documentation
- Case Management Assistance
